Body Products Suitable for Gift Giving



Scented Bubble Bath

This is a great one for anyone who loves a fragrance that is not often found.

6 drops your choice of fragrances  Or 1 teaspoon favorite perfume
1 quart (4 cups) distilled water
1 (4oz) bar castille soap (humectant) (grated or flaked), you can also use 1 cup unscented shampoo as an alternative to the castille soap.
1 1/2 ounces liquid glycerin (skin moisturizer)
5 drops green food coloring (optional)

Mix all ingredients together. Store in a container. Pour a little under running water in a tub



Essential oil facial scrub

Essential Oils can be incorporated into many facial products. A facial scrub to try includes:

1/4 cup sea salt or sugar
sweet almond oil or jojoba oil to make a paste
2 drops Lavender essential oil
2 drops Patchouli essential oil
2 drops Grapefruit essential oil


Mix together and refrigerate a couple of hours before using. Store in the refrigerator.


Sandcastle bath bombs

let the kids make mini sand castles with this one or press into mini sandcastle molds
2 parts baking soda (cup)
1 part corn starch (cup)
1 part citric acid (cup)
FO and coloring to suit

Directions:
Mix all ingredients but citric acid. Spritz with a witch
hazel/glycerin 50/50 mix until the texture of the type of wet
sand you'd make a sand castle with.

Now add citric acid, and mix quickly. Pack TIGHTLY into molds.
Leave for five minutes.

Gently dump out onto surface; put in turned off gas oven
(heated only by pilot light) or another warm, dry place to dry.
 Rose Face Cream

Apply when you are washing your face to remove makeup, moisturize skin and smell like a garden on  a spring day

Start with  a microwave safe dish.

Add in 1/2 cup olive oil,
1/2 oz beeswax
1/4 cup rosewater.

Microwave for 5 minutes or until the wax melts.
Mix vigorously adding

a few drops of rose essential oil.

 Store in an airtight container.
